Loss of libido is another common male sexual dysfunctions that typically occurs during the male menopause age of 40. This can be as a result of physical issues or physiological issues. Sometimes a drop in testosterone level in the body can cause a decrease in sexual appetite along with a slew of other issues. Oftentimes there is a loss of desire caused by stress in one’s life. Anxiety or depression can be a root cause of this type of dysfunction, but treating the underlying cause will normally combat the problem altogether. Maintaining a proper diet and getting enough sleep are ways to improve the entire well-being of a man.

Impotence can be one of the hardest male sexual dysfunctions to gain treatment for. This is not because of the lack of treatment options, but rather a problem seeking treatment from a doctor. Many men are ashamed when they experience impotence. This can degrade a person’s self-esteem. Sometimes the treatment options are as simple as taking a hormone replacement therapy for a short time. There are many new treatment options for these types of dysfunctions, but in order to get the treatment, a doctor must be consulted. There are many tests that can determine the cause of a man’s problems including blood tests and sensory screenings.
