Longer Lasting Sex – Sex Doesn’t Have to be Over Quickly

Longer Lasting Sex

If you’re a man who wants longer lasting sex – and most men do – you should know that you have choices in how to make the experience last longer. Many men feel helpless to control how long sex lasts because they are not always good at withholding ejaculation. That’s especially true for young men, and not as common in older men. Men of any age can have trouble with ejaculating too early, though, even if it would not necessarily be considered to be premature by the strictest medical definition. It still may feel premature to the man and his partner.

Many women also want longer lasting sex, and that puts pressure on the man to deliver what his partner wants in order to keep her happy and satisfied. If you want to last longer, there are several things that you can do. The first of these is the distraction technique. This is very simple and has been used for a long time, but there’s a reason for that. It works. When you’re nearing ejaculation, change what you’re thinking about. Let your mind dwell on something that has absolutely nothing to do with the sexual encounter you’re engaged in.

Distracting yourself helps immensely in most cases. If you want to add to that technique or would prefer not to use it, you can also use the stop-start technique. As you get close to orgasm, stop for a moment and then start again. When you do that you’ll be able to last longer and your partner will get more enjoyment out of your sexual encounter. Having longer lasting sex is important to many couples, and if it’s important to you and your partner you’ll be able to get that by using simple techniques to help you last longer.

You should also keep in mind that longer lasting sex can also involve foreplay. Even if you’re unable to prolong the actual act of intercourse, you can find other ways to please your partner and make your encounter last longer. If you’re not sure what to do, ask your partner. She may have some great ideas for the two of you to try together. Experimenting with one another in ways that you both feel comfortable with can allow you to bond and have a deeper commitment to one another, along with the physical enjoyment that it provides. Both of those situations can improve your quality of life.
