Impotence is an unfortunate medical condition that many men have to deal with. It happens to all men at least once in their lives but others have to find a way to handle the problem more frequently. Examples of these causes would include worry over sexual performance, fear of getting caught or catching a sexually transmitted disease or being pressured to perform in a certain way. An easy way to see if the causes of male impotence are mental rather than physical is if the man is still able to achieve erection outside of a sexual setting.
Men of different ages have separate causes of male impotence to worry about. Generally younger men in their 20s and 30s have psychological causes of male impotence. Older men can also have mental causes but they are more likely to have physical causes of male impotence as well.
